Rising Bird Music est une société de management, production et édition musicale créée et dirigée par Matthieu Remond. Fort de son expérience auprès d’artistes comme Oxmo Puccino, Diam’s, -M-, Babx, Kery James, Tété, Joséphine Draï, Blitz The Ambassador ou Vidéoclub, il intervient aujourd’hui avec Rising Bird Music à différents niveaux auprès d’artistes comme Arthur H, Awa Ly, David Assaraf, J-Silk, Lisa Ducasse, Sages comme des Sauvages et Théophile.

Rising Bird Music is a management, production and music publishing company created and led by Matthieu Remond. AWA LY : Awa est un voyage à elle toute seule. Comme s’il lui avait fallu traverser toutes les frontières pour ne plus en avoir. Française d’origine sénégalaise, émigrée en Italie, Awa a eu plusieurs vies mais avec un fil conducteur : la musique.

Awa is a journey herself. As if she would have needed to go through all the borders in order not to have any. French, of Senegalese origins, emigrated in Italy, Awa lived several lives but all with a common thread: music.

SAGES COMME DES SAUVAGES : Tapis derrière la jungle de leurs plantes d’appartement, Ava Carrère et Ismaël Colombani observent la vie comme elle va. Le luxe engendre la misère, la mode taille des costards aux fauves et l’usine vole le feu du volcan. Sages Comme Des Sauvages échafaude sa musique comme le lieutenant Colombo mène l’enquête, comme le douanier Rousseau peint ses tigres, avec la naïveté en bandoulière, comme une arme contre le second degré et les désillusions de notre temps.

Sages comme des sauvages sing the little people (in Greek), the weak (in French) and call spirits (in Creole). Borrowing from anything that passes their window, they chameleonize and assemble pieces of folklore, threads of meaning and branches of revolt to build an inimitable refuge. A Rousseau-style jungle-caban, where you make here what you imagine over there, where words disorient everyday life and make tropical flowers blossom in the city.

MORGAN GRAHAM : Morgan Graham Project, c’est avant tout une histoire d’amitié née sur des bancs d’école entre 2 musiciens tous deux d’origine anglo-saxonne et scandinave.
Les 4 premiers titres de Morgan et Graham — l’un producer, l’autre songwriter — puisent leur inspiration dans cette belle complicité mise aujourd’hui en musique au travers de paysages acoustiques spontanés et de climats électroniques immersifs.
SWTL, Crystals, Stars ou Fall, sont à l’instar des abysses des mondes invisibles qui ne sont soumis ni au temps ni à l’espace.

LISA DUCASSE :

Seule sur scène, clavier et platine vinyle valise au bout des doigts, Lisa Ducasse invite au voyage de ses textes et sa voix. Née à l’Ile Maurice et actuellement installée à Paris, elle conserve et cultive un attachement farouche à l’enfance et à la capacité d’émerveillement dans sa vie adulte et créative. Inspirées d’échappées réelles, ses chansons font preuve d’une volonté de dire la rencontre du vulnérable et de l’indomptable, en notes et en mots déliés. Lauréate du dispositif Variations en 2022, puis du Chantier des Francofolies et du FAIR en 2023, elle prépare actuellement un premier album pour une sortie prévue en avril 2024.

Standing alone on stage, keyboard and vintage turntable at her fingertips, Lisa Ducasse invites you on a journey woven with the threads of her lyrics and her voice. Born in Mauritius and currently based in Paris, she retains and cultivates a fierce attachment to childhood and to the capacity for wonder in her adult and creative life. Inspired by real-life travels, her songs are permeated by the desire to recount the encounter between vulnerable and indomitable, in notes and in words, personal and modern. In 2022, she was the laureate of the Variations program, followed by the Chantier des Francofolies and FAIR in 2023. She is currently preparing her debut album for release in April 2024.

DAVID ASSARAF : David Assaraf est auteur-compositeur-interprète, mais également comédien et metteur en scène. Au théâtre il a notamment joué sous la direction de Didier Bezace dans « La Version de Browning » (5 nominations – 2 Molières). Au cinéma sous celle de Gabriel LeBomin dans « Les Fragments d’Antonin » (film nommé aux Césars). À la télévision pour Lucas Belvaux ou encore Jean-Daniel Verhaeghe. Il a également mis en scène « L’Échange » de Paul Claudel au théâtre du Soleil. Côté musique, il a, entre autres, écrit, composé ou collaboré avec Sylvie Vartan, Arthur H, Keren Ann, Carmen Maria Vega, Matthieu Chedid…

David Assaraf is a singer-songwriter, but also a comedian and stage director. FLYNT : Considéré comme l’un des meilleurs lyricistes francophones, Flynt est un pilier du rap français indépendant. Son premier album J’éclaire ma ville (2007) est un coup de maître devenu un classique incontournable. « 1 pour la plume ex-aequo avec le gros son » est sa marque de fabrique, il le confirmera avec son deuxième album Itinéraire Bis (2012). Chaque album de Flynt est un événement. 2018 marque son retour sur le devant de la scène avec son album Ça va bien s’passer.
